Anti-Discrimination Fund
A shooter in Georgia took the lives of 8 people, including 6 Asian American women. This comes after months of increase in violence against the U.S. Asian community – particularly in California. These abhorrent murders and the recent rise of hate crimes inflicted on Asians is deeply disturbing. Racism and violence against any person or community is unacceptable. Tragically, America has a long history of violent racism against many minorities including Asians. The recent events are reminders of how far we need go to before we have a society that is free of the blight and horrors of bigotry and misogyny.
